...Hmm. How come whenever I try and make up a creature, it ends up looking dragonish?

When looking at this again, I realize I desperately need to brush up on my anatomy. XD Those legs aren't really believable. They kinda just look like they were stuck on there.

The same thing happens to me. Everything I draw looks dragonish. Cool by the way.

Thanks very much! :huggle: I actually wasn't really thinking of animals when I was drawing this. Well, perhaps a chinese dragon, a canine, and a gazelle, but that was it. Most of it is just pulled from imagination. ;)

It looks dragonish, but it also looks like a mammal-there's something about this guy that just screams 'LION' to me.
And it's not just the mane.

Hmmm...I wasn't thinking about a lion at all when I did this.
And I pulled the head from a canine. Perhaps that's what strikes you as mammal-like...?
