Four Swords cosplay

Cosplay for Ohayocon 2012. Unfortunately we didn't get that many pictures of us - by the time we got our cosplay on the sun had already set, so outdoor setting was out. And then once we got to the con, there was just no opportunity - we had NO time to ourselves. We got SO much attention - it took a half hour just to get to the second floor of the convention center. We were stopped about 40 times(and no, that is NOT an exaggeration), and people kept walking by and taking pictures of us while we were stopped, so it was just sort of a never ending flow of people so we couldn't move. Ha. But it was so much fun. We actually won an award as well. It was completely random, but so amazing.

And that last picture - we found another Zelda group, and started talking, and then people starting asking for pictures, and - no joke - we were stopped there for about 10 minutes. I could only get this one, blurry picture taken by a friend. Sadly.

I'm Green. I made the shields, belt buckles, and my clothes, as well as provide reference for the other three, as the resident Zelda freak.
~NearAsAGirl is Red. She styled the wigs(and she did such an amazing job, too!) and made her own clothes as well as Blue's hat. She also took one of the pictures shown here, and it was reposted with permission.
Katrina(she has no dA) was Blue. She made her clothes, albeit the hat, and the boot covers(made of duct tape. ). There wasn't time to make my boot covers, so I just wore my high brown Uggs. (I won't admit this to anyone, but the actual reason I bought that style of Uggs was because they looked like Link's boots. Shh. It's a secret to everybody.)
~NervousDreamer was Purple/Vio. She made her clothes and the swords. Well, she procrastinated and then kicked ass on the night before the con. She needs to redo them because they're kinda falling apart...

That first picture was taken by a friend, ~Kabuki-Princess, and reposted with permission. My poor shield broke before that, though...Apparently rusty aluminum isn't as strong as it seems. (I TRIED to tell my friend who helped make the shields, but he just wouldn't listen...)
