I wanted to see if the style from transferred well to other things, like people. My assesment is yes. Also, has anyone else ever noticed how small his eyebrows are and how recessed his eyes are? It's ridiculous.

This was referenced from a still from The Eleventh Hour, hence the title.

More excuse to use the gold ink, of course. I'm addicted, I need to wean my self off this stuff...

The first detail I noticed about this piece was the Doctor's eyes. His eyes and the rest of his facial expression make him seem very focused and serious, a contrast to his more commonly chipper personality. You are very accurate with his facial structure and hair and pretty much everything about him! I often struggle to draw expressions, so this stunning image is something I really apppreciate.

I also love the shading and how you designed the painting overall. The hatching in the background provides a lighter mood to the scene, and really pulls the piece together. It makes me think the Doctor is on another adventure and is busy puzzling something out.

The style you used with watercolor pencils and the gold ink definitly transfers to people (I especially like his hair and the gold streaks in it - was that the ink too?) I looked at the link you provided in the image discription to Wolf Link and think you used the gold ink well there too. It's definitly a style you should develop more; I think you could do many more pieces just as brilliant as this one with it!

Overall, I must say that the painting is gorgeous! It's absolutely brilliant and I am struggling to find things you could improve on. I suppose his hair is partedhigh on his head, but for the Doctor I also think that seems natural. Anway, brilliant work! You definitely have to contine in this style!
